Wow, I have lived a boring 65 years of life compared to most of you.

Only thing that comes close was very late one night driving home from work On the Golden State freeway in Ca, I saw a single car in the opposite direction hit the center cement divider. I went to the closest call box (this was before cell phones) & put in a call to the CHP explaining what I saw. Took the next off-ramp & went back to see if I could see what happened & if they were ok until help arrived. I didn't see a car or anything....made 3 passes & on the 3rd, the CHP were on a pull-off area with a car. I drove up & stopped thinking ok, I made the call, they should know what I saw....it was pitch dark at that time of night & no streetlights. I got out to go talk to the CHP & was greeted with a shot gun pointed at me. I explained what I had seen & had made the call. They infirmed me that they had actually received a call that there was a vehicle with the person in it "armed & dangerous" & that when I drove up they thought it might be an ambush thus the use of the shot gun. At that point I said I was outta there & got in my supera & headed for home.

That will teach me to care.....NOT!!!!....I still stop when I am the first one at an accident or see someone in need. Many people are shocked that I have survived some of the help I have given considering how unknown & dangerous people can be but I have always been safe & havevbkessed & been blessed by what I have done to help.
