RACEKA, I don't have a specific recommendation about books. Those who abused me are still alive and I haven't dealt with the specific struggle of recovering with them gone. However, I just want to say that I have been in therapy with a number of survivors whose abusers were now dead. It prevented a confrontation for those who had not reached that point in recovery before the death and I know some people struggle with that. BUT, it did not prevent the healing process -- that I want to affirm to you.
