Hello everyone,
Today around 10 AM CST I received a text from my 20 year old daughter. It said her boyfriend broke up with her and that she was going to end it all. She said, she took a bottle of pills. That she was bleeding out. She had a history of cutting.
We live in two different counties. I called 911 but had to ask to be routed to her county. You can only imagine how fast I was driving on the high way trying to get to her place. She lives alone.
When I arrived the police and ambulance was just pulling up. I have a key. She had taken a lot of pills and her arms were bleeding real bad. We are at a hospital now. The hospital has a psych floor but there full. They gave her a choice of other psych hospitals that her insurance covers. She was worried about her job. We talked about that. I’m going to have her email her manager a discrete email. She’s getting some test ran. We all know it might take all night before she gets a bed. Even with private insurance.
