I like my name... I esp. liked it growing up b/c it was rare... but not anymore... I HATE meeting someone with the same name as me... I definetly own and embrace my name...

When my hubby and I had kids I wanted very unusal names, but he wouldnt hear of it... so the closest I got was our daughter Ashlyn... thinking we made it up... Heck no! I have met three Ashlyns since then and actually one goes to school with mine!!

Our youngest hates her name.. Rebecca-Lyn (b/c it has part of her sister's name in it - Lyn.. LOL...) she prefers to be called Becca..

My sister has what we thought was an unusal name ... Erlene... but we moved to a town where there are 2 other Erlenes... LOL...
