It is possible that you could have PTSD. How bad was your car crash? Were you hurt? Depression can often be a symptom of PTSD also. When did your depression start? Do you have a therapist?
Sorry for asking so many questions. If you do have PTSD, therapy can really help. You don't have to keep living with so much fear all the time.
