Oh man, this a hard one to answer. That what is said up there is pretty close to what I have experienced. Then I was told what the problem was by my counselor. It all came down to anger. People would always see me as very nice or they guy who would always help out. Eventually without me knowing a great bitterness grew inside of me that I did not know was happening. I had to do anger management to realize that I had it. Of course this could not be that answer for you. I would try exploring this issue to see if it is what is hindering me.
