I'll tell you what was not nearly as painful as many people think it will be - getting tattooed. I have many tattoos and while there can be moments of some intense pain, it lasts only a second and the whole thing is a lot more fun than it is painful.
I had a 10 and a half pound baby naturally. I tore with 2 kids and needed stitches with one.

Funny I say stones and you say child birth. It's so individual.
