no personal experience, but...it causes a lot less weight gain and metabolic issues than many other 'atypical' tranquilizers. some people find it helpful w/ mood problems, too.

cardiovascular problems are a possibility. i think the shrink is supposed to make sure you're a-OK for treatment with an EKG or...something (done by a different doctor, of course). Or maybe not, I could be wrong.

Here, it was marketed as Geodon. I knew a couple people on it, they were OK with it. One dude had a minor tremor going, but I think that could have been lithium.
