Today is supposed to be a washout, so I got a good walk in early; over 8000 steps already. If the weather forecast is accurate, I may not make it to 10000 today. Trying the protein recovery approach; I am not sure how much good it really does but after the hard paddling last night I had over 50g of protein this morning. Supposedly the exercise tears down some of the muscle fibers and having lots of protein available helps them build back up more in recovery. May be bro-science.
