That's exactly what I thought of. That there have to be ethical issues with this. Yes, I know, we kill animals all the time (yes, I eat meat, too) and we use them for leather and fur... However taking newborn baby cows away from their mothers so we can get the colostrum that was intended for the baby.... I don't know... maybe it's because of my own attachment issues and my own childhood trauma... but this seems especially cruel to me.

(Please note I'm not interested in starting a debate about animal cruelty or vegan/meat eater debate. This was just my random thought and I hope it won't escalate into anything serious)
