I had self care in a dream which was kind of funny.
We were out at night it was a new moon so the streets were very dark. We needed to get home and would normally have walked so were planning to do that.
Someone called an uber for us though (work boss) and we didn't want it because we never pay out money for things like that, we would always walk. It would only cost $7 but even that felt way too extravagant to spend on our safety. There was a conflict between following the boss's lead (socially acceptable) and accepting the uber and not being deserving of it.
In the dream we consciously decided we would spend that $7 to get home safely. It still felt wrong excessive and different but it also felt okay in a new way. It was a good decision, a healthy decision.

We decided we wouldn't walk alone at night anymore and would always pay for a uber when needed.
