I am not sure there is one reality. People see the world in different ways. So, when someone wants me to get in touch with reality, I feel like they want me to see the world as they see it.

For example, at work I have a coworker that believes everything is wonderful and going to plan. I tend to see the flaws and problems we are having to overcome. I am not sure if either of our "realities" is wrong. We are focused on different aspects of the same moments. I accept that.
