Oh, I'm going up the chain of command with them. I am waiting for a call from their corporate office. The man I spoke to was also from India and I believe a major part of the problem was that there was a communication problem. They read off of a script and cannot deviate.
I've owned several Dell's over the years and this particular laptop E1705 is by far the worst computer that I've ever owned. The ironic thing is that tomorrow the Fed X guy will be here with my Valentines Day present, a Dell XPS. I told the customer service man if I do not get that call from corporate prior to delivery that system will be going back.
They keep telling me that they haven't heard of this problem before. I asked if they looked at their own website, because there are pages and pages of people with this exact problem. It's just so frustrating because they don't care.
