Grateful for my two sisters In law and my brother. They are so understanding of me and always willing to help when things get rough. One holds my meds while the other “babysits” me when I get actively suicidal. I’m lucky.
I’m also grateful for my wonderful boyfriend. We’ve only been dating for a couple of months but he didn’t take off running when I was hospitalized in April for suicidal thoughts and behaviors. He just supported me when I needed it, and continues to support me. We don’t see each other too often because of different work schedules but we make it work.

What a blessing to have such a grandmother, relatives, and BF! Indeed you are lucky. As I have read one some flyer directed at F&F, suicidality is normal in BP in a sense that it is statistically frequent, so to have people who are not put off by it and are not sent off running in panic, but instead are supportive, is a wonderful thing.
