I should have filed a complaint when my place of employment decided they didn't have to give me accommodations, but I didn't. By the time I was let go, essentially for needing three weeks of medical LOA for a mixed episode, I was so beaten down that I couldn't fight for myself anymore. You have 180 days from the date of the 'offense' to file an ADA complaint, so if you do, it's best to do it right away. I wish you the best of luck.
