My son spent time (one year) for deployment in an area that didn't have a lot of danger. Yet he talks about killing a person, and all this horrific stuff. I'm pretty darn sure these things didn't take place. He skyped us often and never seemed any different that any other time.

So is this attention he is seeking? Does he really think these things happened?? He REALLY tells a big story. After leaving there he was back in the US and on another base. He got drinking and went into a program to help him. He would share these stories with the therapist there so we received a phone call from them telling us these things didn't take place.

I thought he stopped telling these stories but heard recently that he is still telling these stories.

What area of the forums can I see if I can find more information??
