Every time I come on this forum I am once again reminded why I have steered clear of internet dating.

The issue is a very fundamental one.

Men and women view online dating very differently. There have been studies on it.
I don't think they think about it I think it's just automatic.
Guys want to be liked just as much as girls.
But yeah, trying to hard is a turn off.
