Hi. I've heard voices, too. They are quiet clear, for me- I can understand what they say. They are mainly distracting and disorienting- until I realize its not a real person. Stress can bring on an episode of mania AND voices, I think. Plus, hearing voices or seeing things that aren't there can be a result of acute mania, so yes- I'd say it is all related.
