Hi Hellish. I have Epilepsy too. Not knowing of your sister's health history, I cann't accurately assess her condition, but, as an Epileptic since infancy, I know it can be frightening to watch the seizures and the uncertainty of when they will hit next can be very stressful.
I am happy to say that I have been able to live a semi-normal life with my seizures. It is amazing the strength you have but I think we need to pass some of that strength on to her as well. I think the worst thing in my life as a daughter well loved by family, was their constant desire to "take care of me." The biggest dream of mine now is to prove to myself and to family that they relax and enjoy life without worrying about me all the time.
It is almost like it puts me in a constant state of dependency. Your love and concern for your sister will help her and you get through the difficult times, but when things improve, try to allow her some control of her life. As I said, though, I am not aware of her other health issues so I am certain some of my issues may not be as good for her as they are for me.
I hope she has some strength to pull through. You deserve some peace in all of this.
