Corporate called. It seems that the reason that the power cord was not shipped the beginning of January was because.... they seem to be having a problem with that particlar cord and it has been replaced with a different model. Which is why the jackass on the phone could not generate a new order.

Now, why couldn't the guy on the phone just tell me that? He couldn't get out of the "I can connect you to sales" loop! The corp. office could not answer that question, but they are *cough* looking into the matter. Right!
