This topic is not an easy one. And by the way, it doesn't necessarily have to be a "police", so to speak
The problem as I stated, is that therapy, while potentially making people feel better, does not answer for one-sided moralities. In my personal experience, therapy has given a very one-sided view on morality - "Thou shalt not harm", but nothing about "They shalt not harm". From what I heard, sometimes therapists tell one to "deal with it", of course in a more gentle manner, but still, the same message context
By the way, a disclaimer - I am not saying therapy or any form of mental health treatment is bad. I am but merely saying my personal experience, and pointing out potential flaws I see in those forms of treatment - that they are not addressing potential causes well enough for people to be truly healthy
