You do not need to be vegan to be healthy; actually, vegans need supplementation with vitamin B-12 and people who eat animal protein do not. You need to take small steps towards better eating. For instance, if you like hotdogs, start buying those franks that are uncured (no added nitrates or nitrites) and start eating some veggies or a salad alongside hotdogs. If you like french fries, make sure they are cooked in good oil. If you like meat, continue eating it but swap it for fish now and then.
