That must have been an important job for the sake of your self protection at some point in your life. It sounds like she has been through a lot.

We have a part that wants to be under certain conditions (mostly afraid of punishment). She seeks it. It is a safety thing we thing. It is to achieve safety instead of fear. We are not able to communicate with her yet but will have to work through it at some point.
