Divorcing this assessment from the "professional" who offered it, let's work with it and extend it more generally. It is not impossible a certain unknown percentage of PC members/posters are dealing with psychological issues of such depth and intensity that those issues are not easily addressed by the helping professions
as they currently exist in the real world.
Too many care providers are too ready to "blame the patient" when their limited efforts do not produce expected, textbook results.
