I came late to this discussion. I am deeply sorry you are going through this. I only have one sister left and she is a lot younger than me. She grew up in the age of text and rarely calls me.

When we were gathered in the hospital last year to be with another sister who we were going to remove life support and let her pass....this sister couldn’t handle it and left. She only communicated through text through the preparation for funeral etc.

I’m in no way defending your sister. But she is who she is. I totally understand that you would prefer her to call you rather then text. I would be hurt too.
