It is very common to feel this way.

Many people go through their childhood and early adult years feeling that their parents do not understand them and have no empathy for the problems that they deal with. Even when they do show empathy, they act very nonchalant about what you are going though. They may tell you, "others have it worse." But that only makes you feel even worse than how you felt even.

Just realize that there are tons of people who have and are going through this issue.

Is there an activity that you can do to feel better? Exercise, watch TV/YouTube, play a board game, or listen to music.

Just try to find something that can help you cope.
