I’m not great at asking for help which is probably a big reason that I’m in therapy. I’m great at helping others, but not so much for myself. I’ve probably acted out at least a little bit in therapy. Other than that, I can be much more honest via email than in person, and thankfully my T is ok with that. I can relate to the idea of not knowing what you need help with, yet still knowing you need help. I think as long as you can at least articulate it a little bit, it gets the conversation going and that’s helpful.
