I can relate. I'm perimenopausal and have been gaining weight. I don't eat more but believe my metabolism is slowing down. Such is life. I think just take it comes. If you lose weight, great. If not, don't take it as a downer but realize your body is changing and it takes more effort than usual. For me, I have not addressed my weight gain but know if I don't sooner rather than later, I'm going to become obese. I walk a lot but it has not helped. I will have to double my exercise time and decrease the carbohydrates and fat that I consume. It is easier said than done though.
