That is why I SPECIFIED situational.....which at the time can be just as bad when the situation has built up over a life time though the depression for me hit 13 years before I was able to leave & yes there were some major sui attempts during that time though I had no idea the ACTUAL cause until I was finally able to leave that environment & be free from a FAR distance.

The results of situational & non-situational depression can very well be the SAME.....the end results may be different as it doesn't seem to follow except when remains of the situation create issues until one can finally cut it off completely. Though it doesn't cause depression any longer the depression one gies through during those years IS NO DIFFERENT & is not distingushable until the situation can finally be defined (which for me was years after I keft the situation & was able to look back with a good T & define what I had been going through once I was finally out of it)
While experiencing the depression & being deep in the middle of it, it is the same experience & most times one doesn't even realize the situation that has built up that created it.
By situational I wasn't just refering to an immediate depression experienced at like the loss of a family member....I was referring to living conditions that we experience & sometimea become our norm while at the same time the stress builds to the breaking point.
