Dear Coral I believe God is our primarily psychologist-counselor. Our brother above has been right about saying that Holy Spirit of God is given to us as our comforter and counselor. Yet I believe assistance of others – people is essential also. God has created us to be in community, he has given us certain skills and knowledge for us to us. I believe it was given for a purpose and we shouldn’t neglect it.
I believe God is working with in us, counsels, heals, renews us within the deep inner parts of our hearts, our being where human beings aren’t qualified to intervener. Yet our God so wonderful that he shares his grace with us and grand us with some tools to help each other. As it says we are coworkers of God. Physiologist might not necessary do the work of healing, transformation, and still he/she has been granted to learn some tools to help you, to direct you on the right path towards recovering.
