I went to see a family optometrist. It gets bulk billed to the government so they pay for it. I get my eyes checked because of family history, diabetes and psych meds can be notorious for affecting eyesight too.


They just put a drop in your eye and then take a picture of the back of the eye. She held my each eye lid apart for a second or two because I have a rapid blinking response. It is quick and very cool to see the pictures of the back of the eye and have them compared to the last time. Last time I had an issue with a very small vein in my eye and this time it had mended itself. She let me see the pictures from this year and last year and explains everything. I have very good eyes "for my age"


Don't have Costco near me - seems like a one stop shop for everything. Gus why did a doc tell you you had a blowout? You shouldn't have to google something that sounds as serious as that.
