I have a problem. I have a part who is putting me in a certain dangerous situation frequently. She initiates the situation, then leaves me in the middle of everything to suffer through it. I don't know why she does this except that she hates me. The situation is extremely distressing for me, as well as physically threatening. I'm not trying to be dramatic, just trying to convey my desperation without saying what the situation is.

This alter isn't new - all of mine have been around for as long as I can remember - but in the past, she has not acted out in this way. When I moved out of my mom's house last fall, she started drinking and smoking weed occasionally, but that's all. Then she started doing this other thing sometimes, but not frequently. But since my dog died a few weeks ago, she has been out of control. I don't know what to do. I told T last session, but she didn't help me. The alter doesn't talk to therapists. After the session, the alter texted T that she wouldn't talk to her and she would keep doing what she's doing to me until she got what she wanted (whatever that is). T didn't respond.

I just don't know what to do. T doesn't care. Any advice?

P.S. Also, has anyone who wasn't suicidal been hospitalized against their will due to DID-related issues? I don't think they can do this, but I'm scared.
