I was doing a breast self exam yesterday, and found 2 new lumps. I don't do self exams regularly (I know I should), so I've no idea how long they've been there. They both feel like they're about a cm wide.

I'm not too freaked out because I've been down the breast lump road a couple of times before, and they've all turned out to be nothing, and I've been told I have dense breasts which apparently contributes to lumps as does drinking a lot of coffee which I do. But I also drank alcoholically for 20+ years which I know is a huge risk factor for breast cancer.

I've made an appointment with my GP for early next week and I know she'll send me for a mammogram right away.

Just wanted to get it out, so I'm not sitting stewing about it.
