I was looking up something recently in regards to my father taking in abandoned foster children, and saw that disowning is considered child abuse.
If you are not a minor, it's still abusive. It's about him trying to exert power and control. So you had an argument? Kids, young and old, press parental buttons all the time throughout the world and throughout history. Waving money in the air or on a leash, just isn't right.
