I love getting flowers.....and yes they do die off, but I don't look at it as a comparrison to the love that is behind the giving of flowers.

I have a cute story about my aunt and uncle. My aunt LOVES to get flowers and OFTEN. So in order for that to happen she calls her favorite florist and orders the flowers to be sent to my Uncle at his place of employment. On the card reads "Bring these home to your loving wife OR ELSE!"

It works like a charm.....he walks in the door with a lovely bunch of flowers, exactly what my aunt wanted and they are both happy
