As far as downsizing do you have family that would take any of it? That way it stays in the family and could still be passed down. When my friend's grandma had to downsize she let all her kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews etc.. come in and pick items that she could no longer keep. And she passed on the family history of each item to the person who took it.
