Fresia, I'm getting ready to put my Mom's house on the market and am looking at sorting through stuff too. Some of the stuff, like furniture, is easy. I don't care for the style so letting go is easy. On the other hand, my parents' bedroom furniture from when they got married is in the house. Sentiment is getting in the way. The stuff with family memories attached are going to be tough to let go.

I hope you hear about your offer soon.

Skeezyks, how did you find the estate sale person? I was going to have a moving sale to get rid of what I don't want to keep. Having someone else handle the sale sounds a whole lot easier.

Anyone have suggestions for selling my grandparents' wedding china? It's about 100 years old. No way I'm selling it at a moving sale. It's good china. I have absolutely no use for it and would like to get a reasonable price for it.
Thanks for this!
