nita, flowers can be a symbol for many things, even our States use a homegrown flower symbolically.

Representing love, some people use jewelry, others give candy, and cards or poems, and many just plant kisses.

So, it depends on ones customs or traditions or impulses or finances but because one doesn't get flowers, it doesn't mean they aren't loved.

Flowers are a lovely presence in the home, so uplifting, colorful, beautiful, organic, and fragrant (mostly)...I buy them for my home all the time, plus I have flowers growing outside during certain times of the year.

Maybe I love myself and my home, and flowers just blooming fragrant accents this for me. Or maybe I just love flowers.

peace
