We're in a heatwave too, only hotter. Yesterday it was 37 and humid. Temps are predicted to be in the mid to high 30's and low 40'. If I wanted heat I would have moved somewhere warm.

I don't have air conditioning, but I do have a big square industrial floor fan, that I put on a table so it's the same height as me when I'm sleeping, and turn it on high. It really helps me cool off.

And keeping hydrated is critical. Also find places to hang out during the worst heat of the day, that have air conditioning if possible, like malls.

Here we have emergency cooling centres that are opened to the public, when it gets over 30. They're basically just a room with chairs, and air conditioning and they have cold water available. I'm lucky I have one that's really close to me.

I'm afraid it's going to be a long, hot summer.
