I lost my job today. I must say though, my union rep was really nice and she definitely fought my corner. To be honest I think my manager's boss wanted to get rid of me regardless of what was said in the meeting today. My union rep asked me if I wanted to appeal their decision and if I did she would be more than happy to help. She also gave me her personal mobile phone number, which I thought was nice. I'm not sure what to do now because they dismissed me on medical grounds. I guess if I go for an interview at a different place that maybe should keep quiet about my schizophrenia?
