I often think I'd have been better off in the olden days when you had to cut wood, grow food and get around on a horse.

ya, I understand you can't miss what you never knew existed, things have changed drasticly over the past few hundred years though

far as standards of living , like central air, nice cars/suvs, etc etc and medical stuff, I feel we have been far more privliged technicaly, maybe not hypothedicaly......but feel humans were better off back when electric etc etc was not known, and also feel they were closer to God in school, family, etc ........in general
