there are risks associated with any type of surgery, and anesthesia~! ask yourself, is your weight killing you ? if not, then you might try to limit your weight gain, rather than aim for weight loss. there are still many side effects to the 'sleeve', the duodanal sphincter removal, and all that... and once it's done, it's very hard to reverse if you experience the 'down-side'. i know i considered it once myself, and live in a state with one of the very best specialty clinics in america (colorado); and even then there was a 1% chance of mortality~! many docs have much higher rates...... is it worth it ?
