I followed dozens of different teachings. To name a few, rosicrucian, eastern teachings, catholic, baptist, mormon, various small groups. All gone except my own beliefs thanks to Truth Seeking! For me truth only means trying to make sense of things, and science is the best tool, but I value personal evidence just as much as mainstream/global evidence.

I was afraid of death but that’s fading. It will be nice to never feel pain again. It’s wishful thinking to believe you'll one day be happy for eternity, heaven. Sorry People will say, "Just let then believe what they want. Don't destroy their hope." I used to believe that. They can believe whatever they want. I'm not forcing anything, but I'll offer to pull their thorn if they wish. Their hope will be crushed, and that lifetime of believing believing believing hoping hoping hoping builds up like a locomotive. That moment in this life or the afterlife, when they learn it was all man-made, a lie, they'll be crushed.

Reality is endless cycles of ups & downs. Don’t feel bad because I can testify that after a while the pain of emptiness fades, slowly, and there will be a moment in your existent when you will be no more.

If anyone has some knowledge on how to quickly become deleted then please let me know.

I hope my comment in another thread isn't what sparked this. I certainly would NEVER tell someone what to believe. I simply state what I believe and then let them decide for themselves. IE: I truly believe if a person is "Born-Again" (accepted the Holy Spirit of Jesus into their hearts) when they die, they will NOT go to hell on judgment day. If a person is NOT "Born-Again", then they WILL go to hell on judgment day. Nothing more, nothing less.

It is another person's right if they reject that. Voltaire once said, "I may not agree with what you are saying, but I would defend with my life your right to say it".

Furthermore, I agree with you about "religion". I hate religion. I tried several denominations growing up and have now come to realize they have all, more or less, strayed away from what Jesus really wanted. They have become more of a "hierarchy" than anything else. They are a dog and pony show, in my humble opinion. Specifically the pentecostal Church. I also do not adhere to the belief that a "book" is the "inerrant, infallible Word of God". I reject that with everything in me. The Holy Spirit is not "contained" and/or "limited" to a book written by imperfect men.

Lastly, I believe if a person says they "used" to be a Christian, then they never were; because "once saved, ALWAYS saved".

Again, these are my beliefs and anyone may agree or disagree.
