Is is another person's right if they reject that. Voltaire once said, "I may not agree with what you are saying, but I would defend with my life your right to say it".

Furthermore, I agree with you about "religion". I hate religion. I tried several denominations growing up and have now come to realize they are have all, more or less, strayed away from what Jesus really wanted. They have become more of a "hierarchy" than anything else. They are a dog and pony show, in my humble opinion. Specifically the pentecostal Church. I also do not adhere to the belief that a "book" is the "inerrant, infallible Word of God". I reject that with everything in me. The Holy Spirit is not "contained" and/or "limited" to a book written by imperfect men.
I used to believe exactly what you said above. I gave up on the majority what's printed in the christian bible of 66 books long ago because of well known academic facts. So then I limited my beliefs to just Jesus, the holy spirit, God, and a few other things but I could not hold that faith very long because I'm a high degree truth seeker by nature. It's contradictory to say a God is all powerful and knowing and loving but would create biological beings knowing full well given the very nature of our biological makeup that we would have critical thinking skills and therefore reject such a God, and therefore said God would even allow souls he created to be tortured for eternity in a lake of fire. Sorry, but that is 100% absolute sick nonsense. Even the majority of humans have enough compassion to not torture criminals. Then again, there's nothing criminal about humans requiring a "God" to at least give some rational evidence. There's nothing criminal about being an "unbeliever." I find is sick to even believe God would sentence or even allow living beings to be tortured in a lake of fire for eternity. Pure evil. Believe whatever you want. I prefer trying to find the truth over finding some faith to make me feel comforted.

Yeah, just like the "prophets" at Z3 news say that if a prophecy fails then it was of the devil and if it comes true it was of God. smh. That's called religious bondage. They have plenty of ways to keep people from leaving the faith. They also tell you to stick to faith no matter what. Faith means you trust without the need for evidence. Good way to fall in bondage. You have no clue of my past and all the countless times I spent kneeling at my bed with tears in my eyes praying to Jesus to heal me and save me. How dare you tell me I was not a Christian.
