Not trying to sound absurd or anything but have you ever tried getting a mud bath? This could have a reversal effect on you, making you vividly remember the relaxation of cleaning our bodies.

But I relate kinda. When I'm depressed, I'm known to avoid proper hygiene like simply bathing.

Before I was admitted to hospital, I went one whole year without talking a shower, only using wet wipes like a homeless person. Clinically depressed.

And nobody knew because of my deodorant.

I would have taken that to the grave, never telling a soul.

Ps: I take regular showers now.
