Interesting to hear about roof materials, BTW. My home is 20 years old (I bought it new), and I'm just now beginning to anticipate replacements like kitchen appliances, A/C, etc.

For roofs, it's GAF products, Timberline shingles that are warranteed so well and so long. We've always had good luck with them. My neighbors are just now needing to replace a roof that had timberline from 40 years ago. Back then was warranteed for 30.
