Since my pdoc changed me from Klonopin to Xanax XR, I have noticed myself feeling more moody and depressed. This afternoon, I am a wreck. I am exhausted too, sleeping more, wanting naps, and I cannot wake up to the alarm clock half the time, which has never been a problem for me.

In addition, I am sticking to my meds like clockwork, but my husband says I am slurring my speech. Another side effect of the Xanax XR? Or just detoxing from being on Klonopin so long?

I called and left a message with the receptionist at the pdoc’s to let him know I am feeling down and slurring my speech and would rather go back on the Klonopin. He’ll either call back shortly after 5 or have the secretary do it if he doesn’t feel it’s overly critical. I don’t like to be slurring my speech when I’m not high on anything and taking my meds as prescribed. In addition, I was screaming at the cats all morning; they had to be right up on my desk, butt in my face, blocking the computer screen when I am having issues with my computer freezing and iTunes messing up. I just screamed at a telemarketer on the phone but they deserved it; this stupid place calls my number at least 5 times a day, I tell them to take me off their stupid list, they change their caller ID number and do it again, which I am pretty sure is illegal. Pissed me off big time. I need to calm down. Will probably take a couple Klonopin with the propranolol to calm down, only had 1 Xanax XR in the morning, around 6 AM, will skip the evening dose. Maybe lie down with lavender in my essential oils diffuser.

I want to read but can’t so upset
