Hey everyone,

So I recently had a dr change, and a med change. previously I was taking Vyvanse 40mg, lamictal 200mg, Haldol 10mg, and gabapentin 800mg 4x daily.

I've been at this clinic for going on 4 years and have been tossed around like a bag of oreos… I think I'm on my 6th dr if not 7th now in that time...

now recently I stopped the Haldol, weened myself off that on drs orders. and once I was nearly off / off, there was a total lift of my depression. ive been out of work since mid march, and finally feel like I might be ready to get back into things.

Now, new doc. doesn't like gabapentin, so (even though I feel better on this regiment than I have in months) this guy decides to take me off something that's helping me.

Now I've read anecdotal experiences w/ people on lamictal and gabapentin with treatment resistant bipolar disorder. its helped me too. anyone else here have that be the case?

currently im working with my psychologist to get out of this clinic and get to a dr I can have for more than a few months before I get a new one... this has been hell. and currently my plan is for the mean time to head to my pcp and explain to him the situation and hopefully he can keep me on whats been working for me until I can get to a new pdoc that's not an ego maniac...
