Bipolar people can and do have psychosis.
OP,
It’s virtually impossible to get a correct diagnosis if a person is drinking or using street drugs.
Maybe overtime your Pdoc will make the change but it really boils down it’s the symptoms being treated and the meds are the same for bipolar and Sza.
