I finally got my leatherbound version of Goethe's Faust I wanted for so very long. It's in old English which is interesting. The translation is very nice, it's the only other major translation I haven't read yet. I'm relieved that it also has numbered lines so when I write in it.
My roommate was floored when I told her I was preprared to annotate it. She thinks that depreciates it, but I want my annotated hardcovers to be past done in the family. My great grandmother passed down one of her books to me and her handwriting is all over it. I love that persional touch. Also, you really do need a guide to understand a lot of the books I annotate.
